Generational Genetic Registry
Many organizations are recognizing the need for control group advances in researching IR genetics.
Children of Atomic Veterans worldwide can help science understand the scope of impacts. Atomic Bomb Testing Era Veterans direct exposure to specific levels of fallout around the world are better understood today. We encourage living Atomic Veterans to participate and register their results to add to the available genetic data for future research. The goal is to gather the resources and align interested parties where the IR test kit data can be gathered and accessed globally on a volunteer basis, with appropriate third-party privacy issues protected.
- Volunteer subjects can chose to register their existing test data or can per-approve their IR Genetics Test Kit results for access by vetted independent research groups.
- Coordinating a global effort to grow a volunteer database that can be accessed in the long term to better understand the unintended consequences to the unborn, as well as improving the healthcare to existing and future generations.
- The ability to prove a family member’s exposure, not to us, but to the research group(s) seeking access to archived genetic data is required.
- Various research groups, or impacted countries, could more easily identify, monitor and track those willing to submit their genetic data, or make themselves available for more detailed studies. Available for contact by research groups, existing or emerging as needs arise.
Why Register to “Stay Informed” Now?
While we are organizing the people and technology resources to meet our initial and loftier long-term goals we understand the challenge and are willing to take it on. The “Stay Informed” link will add you on the mailing list for updates an notices.
We understand the need for your privacy and security
Those involved since an Atomic Veteran family member have already suffered decades of frustrating exercises because of it. As GMO’s, we have been searching and helping one another on various and scattered online forums. Clearances have been lifted in many countries and we have been able to step out of atomic shadows to try to help and find one another. Our stories are as varied as they are fascinating but all include the struggle to find medical information and research. Understanding new genetic explorations make our group a particular interesting category but the researchers need a way to locate us.
Genetically Modified Offspring
In addition to the research database, we are in the early stage of organizing a document for GMO’s that can be printed as a ‘heads-up” guide to lesser aware physicians and clinicians when they are evaluating and treating us.
Atomic Veterans & Enewetak Clean-up Veterans
We wish to include the option for Atomic Veterans to register as well if they wish register themselves as available for researchers to contact them, or to simply stay informed for themselves or a family member. In the upcoming form for collecting (only very very basic information) there will be a check box (search criteria) for your group as well.
If you register, be ready to prove it, not to us, but to them.
Various research groups or impacted counties could more easily identify, monitor and track those of us willing to submit their information and make themselves available for contact by research groups, existing or emerging, world wide.
